Loopy

The small intestine is where most of your food becomes fuel! After your stomach mashes food up, the small intestine soaks up the good stuff — vitamins, energy and building blocks for your body — and sends it into your blood. In PeekaLab, that busy food-slide is exactly where Loopy does its measuring.

About 6 metres — as tall as a giraffe! It fits inside your tummy because it is coiled up like a garden hose. If you stretched it out flat, it would be longer than a car. Loopy has personally measured every single loop — twice, to be sure.

Food slides from your stomach into the small intestine, where it travels for around four to six hours while your body collects all the nutrients. What is left moves on to the large intestine. It is like a water park ride for your lunch — and Loopy inches happily alongside it.
